can anyone tell me what is the black pipe about 1"thick going to the air box do?

as i have fitted an induction kit but now you can hear it hissing as you start boosting does that mean my dump valve isnt holding?

where does the pipe go to?

towards the front of the engine?

yes, i havent followed the pipe but it run round the front of the engine

It's the intake pipe for the secondary air pump.

If you've fitted an induction kit, you'll just need to pop a small air filter on the open end of that pipe. The filter will just stop crap getting in the pump.

No other side effects.
