Can some one tell me

can i change injectors to bigger ones and will the car still work ok

if i change 250 cc to 315 cc will th lambda be able to correct mixture or not

has eny one tryed this

chip is upsolute

thanks

why would you want to change your injectors ????

No, if you change your injectors then you would need a remap to suit.

Somehow, this doesn't surprise me, particularly since the only sound reason for fitting bigger injectors is going to be as part of a major re-tune, which is also going to need a bigger turbo I think?

my injectors are leaking

and whena i look AFR on my car i can see im missing fuel

so because of thees two thing i need new injectors

but when im buying new i can take bigerones or the same

im looking on web people put 4 bar FPR on chip cars and everything is ok - map is for 3 bar

A 4 bar FPR doesn't *supply* any more fuel. Bigger injectors would and the scaling would be wrong.

your best bet is to keep it all the same i.e standard

can u explan on this

im reading od web that car gets more fuel with stronger FPR

Higher pressure in the fuel rail will give you a better response, and possibly (less likely with modern electronically mapped injection than with old mechancial injection systems like Bosch K-Jetronic, which isn't electronic despite the name), but it will not increase the available peak flow from the injectors so can't increase the peak power).

Electronic injection controls how much fuel is injected by signalling the injectors to open a certain percentage, rather than to supply a certain volume of fuel. If you increase the size of the injectors by 50% and make no other changes to the engine, a cruising throttle setting of X% throttle, Y RPM will lead to the injection supplying the engine with 150% of the fuel it actually needs, causing it to run very rich. (ignores closed loop lambda effects).

You'll also read on the web that fitting a resistor between the engine temperature sensor and the EMS has the same effect as a remap. That's so much male bovine faeces as well; run a site search for "Fleabay resistor" to see more about this, but basically all it does is spoof the EMS into thinking the engine is cold all the time and running it on the cold-start map.
