Featured Replies

Hi,

Does someone saw the workshop – service manual for superb II to buy?

I saw some programmes on ………I cant remember the title (file) now, but they more is for Skoda dealers something you must connect to skoda service web or something like that.

Looks strange as superb II approximately 2 Year on the market, but cant see anywere the service manuals.

You could try erWin Online for skoda, it might help. ww.erwin.skoda-auto.cz/

There won't be one for another 3 years if at all, Haynes will only bother if the car looks like a profit maker, which the Superb isn't due to numbers of them, or lack of anyway.

You might be able to get the CD-Rom version that the dealers would use, but this will be both expensive and depend on an employee managing to copy it for you.

I seriously doubt that any employee will copy one for you, because that is strictly forbidden.

As I said previously, if you try erwin-skoda, and are willing to pay the price, €60 for 1 day's printing rights, or €210 for 30 days, you get the electronic repair and workshop information, to all skoda vehicles, which gives access to all vehicle specific information, with unlimited usage within the period paid for. You always work on line with current up to date vehicle data,

so it could be quite possible over a 24 hour period to print out all required information for a specific vehicle, and at a cost of €60, if this was shared between a few owners, then the cost of such a print out, would be less than a Haynes manual, and you would not have to wait.

Exactly.

The one jonnb has suggested is the only solution I can think of, but if you wait for Haynes you'll be waiting a long time, I don't know if they ever did a Sup 1 one tbh, and most ppl used a B5.5 for most tings iirc, maybe a B6 one if available will be the best option for now, as long as it features the right mechanical's.

Looks great, ... Has anyone noticed that on the screen which shows removal of the front bumper that on the index on the left it refers to the "8cyl 4.2 tdi common rail engine!!!!

Are we in for a big surprise???

Since the screws and mounts are the same, what does it matter? There is no surprises, the workshop manual works like a charm in my opinion.

Somebody from our German friends of Skodacommunity.de has done just that for his S2 2.0TDI DSG, and the best part is: He uploaded his result as PDF to rapidshare :p . One disadvantage for people who only speak English: It's in German (but that's not a problem for Dutch people  )

Data can be downloaded from Rapidshare here.

This is the original thread on www.skodacommunity.de.

Have fun,

Hi. I can see this is an old post, and the rapidshare link isn't working any more.

Anyone got the manual on PDF and want to share with us?
