Hybrid turbo = Hybrid badge possibly?

Probably not to everyones tastes but at least people will have an idea whats just overtaken them ;)

Also whacking it on the rolling road tomorrow so i'll post up a graph :) hoping for over 200bhp.... well erm a lot over 200bhp would be nice!

It's nice to see this looking clean again B)

Hmm.... not sure on the badge on its own, as said a vrs badge would go nicely with it

Hello jasc1988,

What's your top speed above the standard 130mph Fabia VRS ??

I dont know?? Dont really go 130mph+ lol but the previous owner said he had it reading 145mph with revs still to go

What a waste, all that power sitting idle, might as well got a standard VRS. LOL (Only green with jealousy)

1. Nice car, good wheels and the mods look well executed.

2. Sorry, but the hybrid badge looks silly to me. It's possibly worth bearing in mind that another word for hybrid is ******.

3. When I first got my vRS I took it to Germany and the most I ever saw on the satnav speedo readout was about 130mph even though the speedo said 155 or something (off the clock). I doubt it'll do 145 because the gearing is just sooooo long, especially on those older cars with the extreme cruise final drive ratio.

the gearbox's limit is 156mph if you have the bhp then you an get there

Well what BHP it pushing?

the gearbox's limit is 156mph if you have the bhp then you an get there

Yes, and my bike will do 50mph in top gear if I can turn 120rpm in top gear. But I can't.

Sadly, the Fabia has the aerodynamics of a brick, and the gearing really is interstellar - remember that you only have 4500rpm to play with - a Lamborghini with 9000rpm to play with only does 200mph so that should give you some idea how enormous the gear ratio is. The last time this issue was discussed it was generally accepted that a stronger engine didn't really increase top speed massively, but the car got there an awful lot faster. I'd be delighted to be wrong though.

hi it is an 05 model (facelift) the 53 reg is my own number plate :)

also with a hybrid turbo my limit is no longer 4.5k revs it revs right past 5.5k due to the bigger turbo....

Rolling road run was a bit disappointing :(

only 195bhp and 300lb-ft torque

a re-remap is needed i feel

You need a HYBRID sticker/badge from a Lexus GS450H, one from the rear door as hybrid is smaller or use the 'H' after vRS?

It'd read 'vRS H'

Would agree, however my Ibiza has the 160mph clock, and the shorter box, and ive hit the limter in 6th :/ Was off the clock on the speedo but the nav said around 5mph out, which I thought was pretty good, running 215/40 tyres.

Would point out done this once, on a private strip. It actually hit the limiter as felt the car 'stop' then within 2/3 seconds actually dropped into limp mode to what id imagine is due to the rather STUPIDLY HIGH EGT temps!

Oh well, was fun.
