Non-Yellow flasher bulbs

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of getting a couple of pairs of either Osram Diadem or Philips Silver Vision bulbs as shown at http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/

Has anyone compared the actual bulbs - which type looks the best when not flashing (i.e. the least yellow)?

I've got Silvertec bulbs front and rear, I think they look better than the Diadem ones as they still look a bit orange when not flashing.

I've got the philips silvervision - no complaints at all! (And no orange bits)

I've ordered 2 or 3 times from Powerbulbs and never had a problem, btw :)

I have the Diadems and I think they look better than the Silvertecs. :P

Mine look blue whereas i've seen the Silvertecs to look still a bit orange....I'm laughing while writing this as it's opposite to Ross' and Steve's comments.

I got a couple of pairs of chromed bulbs "a la el cheapo" from e bay about four quid a set plus postage. No orange bits at all and the chrome looks great against the silver reflector in the lamp clusters

I prefer the Osram Diadems, which look like this:

Was just gonna post a piccie just like that. Amazing how that looks just like mine! :D

I have to say, I also prefer the diadems as the give a cool looking blue tint when not lit.

Thanks for comments. It looks like a matter of personal preference. I'll probably go for the Diadems.

I fitted Silverfusion bulbs which have a mirror finish so you dont get any orange at all with them. I found with the diadems and the philips you still get some orange reflection.

Cant find the silverfusion website anymore but the silvertec ones seem to be the same.
