my air con doesent seem to be that cool at all at the moment, have only just used it since i bought the car, can anyone tell me where the regassing point is on the fabia? its a 1.4 16v elegance 2001! thanks

is it simple enough to do yourself or needs a specialist, if anyone has some pics would be good im having trouble locating

Really need to be leak tested with a vacuum test that last 40 minutes, that process also removes any moisture from the system, which is very important. The oil used in the air-con turns acidic if it mixes with moisture, which in turn eats the seals and some metals. Cheapest I have found is Kwik Fit at £45, and since all they have to do is hook it up to a fully automatic machine, they do a good job, or rather the machine does.
