Tyre wear

Featured Replies

Have been changing my rear pads and discs today and noticed that my tyres are wearing on the inside edge. Not the normal wearing but the tread is uneven, almost stepped, if that makes sense.

What could be causing this?

Thanks

I have had the same problem with my last 2 passats, I think its known as feathering. The tyres also become quite noisy on overrun. I believe it is down to suspension angles/tracking (front & back ) and that vag have had this problem for a number of years and many models. I do 40k plus per year and the effect is obviously greater on my tyres
