Why not 1.6 CR on Yeti?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Are there anyone who knows why Skoda don't deliver 1.6 CR on Yeti? I would like to have 1.6 CR with DSG. It would have been a lot cheaper because of car taxes in Norway...

They deliver 1.6 CR to Octavia, and soon to Superb, so I think it's a bit strange...

I think there's supposed to be a Greenline Yeti on the way with the 1.6TDI-CR but this has not been confirmed oficially.

But that would probably be 2WD only?

Yes, certainly I'd think.

I will be happy to wait for that particular combination.

Per an earlier query of mine.

Cheers

I had a 1.6 tdi golf on hire (105hp i think ?).

Smooth and quiet, but a bit gutless at low revs - took a while to spool up.

Compare with the 1.2 tsi - this is all too eager to provide boost/torque from very low down in the rev range.

1.6 TDi Comes in 4x4 in the Octavia Estate....

So there may be hope for it in 4x4 for the Yeti! - Am still not a Skoda owner, but am waiting for my Superb 4x4 Estate

Al.

You can get a Touareg Bluemotion, so maybe a 4wd Yeti Greenline would be goer ?
