My own 50mm f1.8 results

Featured Replies

Inspired by WaveyDavey's post, I decided to finally attach the 50mm f1.8 I haven't used much to the front of my 400D, and experiment with that. f1.8 gives you a DOF measured in mm,, and I've left some in that illustrate the point!

Flickr should work fine. All my shots are on Flickr and so are many other peoples.

Are you clicking on the "all sizes" button then copying the url (from the bottom of the page) for the image size you want to post? You may also want to check your security settings in case all the photos are set to private or similar.

Thanks, mate. Now sorted :)

Great shots... Like #3 & #5 the best.

I left the 50mm on for the Thorne meet, as can be seen on the link in my 50mm post, and really like the results. The sun sparkle reflecting off the cars in the picture of the black and red Furby vRS's from behind is great. I think i've found my new favourite lens. :)

Cheers

Dave.

it's the first time in ages I've used a prime lense, but I'm really pleased with the results. I'll certainly be giving this one an airing a bit more often.

I turned around from taking an arty shot of a flower and heard a big, rumbling purr start up behind me. So I got him, too. It's the least contrived and. IMHO, best picture of the set.
