A slight press, maybe a few mm, on the accelerator pedal does not seem to get any response. I have run a throttle body adaptation with VCDS. Is adjustment possible or is it normal behaviour? Thanks in advance.

IIRC all Fabia's have electronic power control (EPC), which gives a slight delay in acceleration

Is the 1.4mpi electronic throttle as well then? I thought this one being based on the Felicia's engine might not have been?

Chrisw880 is right though, some throttles can just be a little laggy, the early 1.4 16v Fabia's being the worse.. but your 8v so shouldn't be to bad if it is electronic.

If you mean your pressing the pedal and holding it and still nothings happening and it is indeed electronic then could be a lazy pedal.. is it the same story all the way to full throttle or is it only the first movement?
