Bleedin winter.

If winter and summer were men, summer would kick winter's pansy ass from here to kingdom come. Thoughts please?

i hope you are going to behave better with this sign in than you did on the last one alex? or will it be short visit?

Not if it's a hard winter like they are forecasting :P

what do you mean? Huh?

The met office are forecasting a hard winter, which means that it will be jolly cold. I was using the term "hard" to mean not to be messed with ergo a hard winter would easilly beat up a summer.

Hope that makes it clear for you.

Na summer is so much better than winter. Winter....wants to be summer, it envies it as it knows in itself its a crap season. Like autumn (not a proper season at all) it mascarades through pretending to be like summer in its brighter moments and also tries to be crappy winter in its windiness.

I prefer winter to summer. No oppressive heat, cold crisp air, maybe a touch of snow, long cosy nights in in front of a roaring fire, snuggling under the duvet, car going better due to the denser air as opposed to summer which, in this country at least, is a bit of a non-event, 2 sunny days, humidity, cricket, Wimbledon, traffic jams....

Only good thing about summer is scantily dressed lovelies in the park :P

I put the following in favour. I see your point about winter i.e. the fire roasting bla bla bla. But, summer, windows down, favourite song on, shorts on, beepin at scantily clad beauties, drinkin beer in the beer garden, hanky panky outdoors with the missus, no wheelspin, good grip, ladies eating lollies (hubba).

Downside? Cricket, Wimbledon, too "muggy" to sleep

Solution steal all cricket balls, no one takes any interest in "tennis" anyway (it aint even a bloomin sport, thats a differnet matter but there ya go!) and buy a fan! or sleep in your air conditoned fabia vrs courtesy of mr skoda man!

Totally agree Taviavrs......winter all the time for me.
