jabbasport roll bar, worth doing?

Featured Replies

I've recently done all the engine mods to my vrs that i want and im very happy with the perfomance.

Next up is the handling and just wondering if the jabbasport rear anti roll bar is worth doing?

I know there are loads of threads on here about it but just wanted to post myself and ask

Thanks in advance for any replies

Its probably the BEST mod you can do!!

It transforms the handling!!

Yes

/end thread :p

Is it worth taking the chance of a peek of Jessica Alba in the shower? Of course it bloody is?! :D

JABBA or Whiteline, I'm still to be convinced...

ABout the ARB or peeking at Alba in the shower? :D

Jabba Rear ARB = WIN!

END OF.

I've recently put the Jabba ARB on my VRS, which is on standard suspension, and TBH I'm a bit disappointed. It has made a difference but not massively - nothing like when I put Eibach ARB's to my mk2 Golf. I'm hoping it gets better when I get some coilovers.

After having read so many threads about what a difference it made I'm guessing people were either already on uprated suspension, or the 35k miles on my standard suspension has taken it's toll more than I thought.

I've got one on my vrs with the standard suspension setup and it's made a huge difference. It ain't gonna totally transform the handling on its own but it helps towards the fabia pointing the way you want it to go. (unless you overdo it then interesting drifts around wet roundabouts are fun!! )

Thanks for the replies, defo going to go ahead with it now.

Isit worth doing the eibach springs as well? But I don't want to comprimise comfort to much as I have a long daily commute, will just the RARB be enough of an upgrade on its own to stiffen it up without forcing me to avoid every pot hole in the road (of which there are loads round by me as the lazy council won't sort them out lol)

Cheers

Jabba arb will make a big improvement to the balance. However it won't fix the poor damping.

Is it worth doing to standard suspension. Hell yeah :)

it will work on eibachs but comfort level will decrease a bit which is what happens unfortunately when you opt for stiffer/shorter springs. If you can afford it i'd buy the Koni response shocks (not sure of the proper name, sorry). They adjust automatically to road conditions. A few people on here have got these and say they give a ride quality that is close to oem as poss and in some cases better.

In fact every forum i've been on swears by these dampers across a multitude of applications.

Koni FSD's

It does make a difference but not huge in my eye's.. After all the rear Beam is solid to start with & has very little flex, All you are doing is adding another solid item. If the rear suspension was independant ... Then it would be a huge difference.

Yes.

That is all.

I have had my Whiteline ARB on now fora couple of years

It has been fantastic

My son bought a Fania not long ago , to be fair , I drove it before he bought it

It needs lowering and definately a rear ARB

You can tell when it is not there

turns :) into :D with a hint of :giggle:

Uprated springs and dampers before RARB in my own opinion.

I took my RARB off after 6 months on standard suspension..........

I took my eibach springs/dampers off to fit the RARB. Never looked back.

Each to their own. :)

Whiteline do an adjustable R ARB. There are three sets of holes to choose from for the droplink attachments, making three different stiffness settings. Or more if you want to go assymetric...

There are no Drop Links on the rear of a fabia !!!!! So nothing to adjust the Arb tension ....
