Hi There,

Anybody know how to go about replacing a wing mirror on an '05 Octavia. Mine got smashed by an oncoming car, housing, glass and electrics need to be replaced, person never even slowed..... I have the parts coutesy of my local dealer, but there is no obvious way to remove the door panel to release the old mirror.....? Can anybody Help?

pull the interior mirror cover off, should come away easily - just be careful to pull it evenly or the clips will break

The interior mirror cover extends into the door panel and won't come away, it looks like the upper part of the door panel needs to be removed first ( 2005 Octavia)... but there don't seem to be any crews or obvious way to remove this....Any Ideas?
