Changing Headlight bulb vRS

Featured Replies

Just bring this thread back up instead of starting a new one.

Ive got a few bulbs out in the front that Im going to replace. I also have clumsy hands! so instead of mucking about for hours cutting my hands to bits, Im going to take the head lights out.

My question is does the front bumper need to come off to do this?

Cheers, Stephen.

From what I've been reading.. answer is yes..

Although I am surprised that many are having issues with it.. I just changed the sidelights to LED yday, took a whole of 5-10mins (half of that was figuring out what that pull ring was on the driver side... :dull: (didnt have it on the 1.4..)

I think changing any bulb on my vrs is a piece of **** easyest car I've had for changing lights

simples....

it is easy as long as you don't mess it up by dropping the bulb! My fiesta was considerably easier. Nothing simpler than taking the headlight out and doing it in the comfort of your own home! Only took about 3 screws to get the headlight out as well!

The Fabia isn't too bad for changing them. I think I had more difficulty with my Clio!

the only thing i will say with removing the Headlight is When it is back in the car, check the position of the light.......

I don't think the bulbs have any iron in them, so a telescopic magnet with illuminated eyes and mirror is not a lot of use.

Think I'll pay for the Halfords lads to scrape their knuckles

Halfords guy swapped the passenger dipped bulb in 2 minutes
