A trip to Nurburgring

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I’m relatively new here, but I cannot see anything within your events section that’s set in concrete.

Basically, I run my own car forum and I’m organising our first Nurburgring Trip for this September. At the moment, I have 17 confirmed people and I have booked our apartment up. However, there is an option of another 2 apartments been available – therefore leaving potentially another 10 places up for grabs and I’m offering this to you guys.

The trip is booked for Friday 10th September until Monday 13th September. The cost needed to secure your place is €35 which is roughly £31 in today’s rates, then its upto you when you book the ferry and the rest of the money is payable when we leave the hotel. I have listed a quick rundown of costs and information, so if you have any further questions – then please ask.

FERRY DETAILS

Outward Journey – 10th September

6am from Dover

9am arrival in Dunkirk (local time)

Return Journey – 13th September

2pm from Dunkirk

3pm arrival in Dover (local time)

HOTEL DETAILS

Deposit of £31 needed

Cost of leaving €100

This is €45 euros per person per night. This includes breakfast, use of garages, wifi and on site bar. The hotel is in the centre of Adenau and our apartment will overlook the track as it comes down and around. I can provide more hotel details if needed, but here is a link

OTHER COSTS INVOLVED

When considering the trip, then please think about the following costs

Meals & Drinks

Fuel

Laps (Current price is €22 euros per lap, but discounts if more booked)

If you are interested, then I can provide a link to where the trip is being booked to show it’s all above board and I currently have a well known car performance suppliers coming along too, in the name of Rude Racing.

Please either respond here or PM for more details if you are interested.

Mods – please move if you’d think it should be elsewhere.

Cheers,

Luke

just back from the hotel and sadly the view from the bridge is rather restricted now from when i stayed last year

they have put up fencing around the bridge due to noise levels during race competitions

non the less still a great place to stay and edgar is a top guy

highly recommended

How far does the fancing go up? Can you still get up the grass bank to the left of the bridge and into the woods to watch from up there?

P.s. Anyone who fancies coming in September click the link in my sig, we have 1 place left and it's cheap like a budgie
