I have a dreaded rattle from the dash area right below the two dials. There is a plastic trim below and between (kind of connecting) the 2 dials.

Sure I read someplace here someone had the same....but can't locate post now. Anyone here have the same? Do you know the fix?

I get that sometimes.

Often it sounds like a squeek.

No squeak....defo a rattle, plastic on plastic stylie!

Its a squeek-rattle and it seems to be the smooth arched piece between the dials above the steering column where it vibrates against the dials, usually set off by hitting a pothole or a bump at too high a speed, fortunately it's intermittent and does improve with a light squeeze...............

Sounds quite common to me! Yes I have given mine a squeeze....pushing it more firmly into its place and it has gone for now.
