Yeti Accessories: Boot Net 5 piece

Featured Replies

Hello,

I opted for, amongst other things, the 5 piece boot net system for my new yeti. Its all very nice and is very handy for storing maps, first aid kit, gloves, etc etc. but...

It seems the yeti comes with a 3 piece set as standard so consider carefully if you need the extra ones as 3 of them are the same as the standard ones. My dealer didn't tell me that it came with some as standard so I am now considering taking the 5 piece set back.

Ah ok... So which 3 parts come as standard? I have asked the dealer for the 5 piece and the parcel shelf one. That is £39 and £29 respectively. So you are saying I don't need the former? And the latter not come standard?

Standard: One long net that fits accross the boot between the side rails. One smaller square net that fits front to back on one side. One net that fits accross the floor of the boot.

5 Piece: As above but 2 off long nexts across boot and 2 off square nets on sides.

It does not include the parcel shelf next.

Can take photos later if required.

the picture on page 80 of the owners manual shows the standard net system. with the 5 piece you get the extra ones, and they are silver rather than black

My standard set only had 2 nets! One large for across the back of the rear seats and one small for the side. I'm only guessing here because there were no fitting instructions either.

That sounds like the standard 2 net system. The boot floor net appears to be an extra. Note too that the low floor (no spare wheel) and high floor (with spare wheel) nets are different. See previous post on this topic.
