Putting multi fiunction onto non dsg VRS

Featured Replies

My new car is picked up next week. I am wanting to put the multi function wheel on. I have spoken to a chap that people suggested from here and he says I need the following which all bar one I understand

He suggests - I would recommend more switch for wippers/wash-wipe operation

Sorry mine is manual as well not DSG.

The only multifunction wheel available is the DSG version, so you'll have paddles on the wheel but they will no of no use.

The cost is approximately as above and 1.5 hours labour to fit and code, so approximately £425 all in.

OK Thanks.

Labour is £45/hour and you don't require a new wiper stalk, it's just that cars with the multi function wheel have a stalk without buttons on the end, where cars without the wheel have the buttons. It's no big deal and doesn't require changing.

So if I wanted the stalk to do it properly how much would that cost please?

It wouldn't be any longer in labour and so just the cost of the stalk (26EUR according to the above, perhaps a little more from a UK dealer).

Hi, Can you still get all the parts to do this?  Is it still only possible with a DSG Wheel.

Thanks.

PS I have a Kenwood DNX-520VBT installed
