how do you post pictures

One way is to create an account on a photo hosting site such as Photobucket. Upload your photo's to there and then copy the IMG code link and paste to your reply box.

Or try the insert image option in the reply box, just below the font sizes box, or attach file at the bottom.

You can either register with something like Photobucket where you can create albums. Or you can try sites like imageshack or what I use, tinypic.com, these are quick and easy to do but you only host one at a time.

You can upload them onto this site, but there is a 2Mb limit.

Or if you have them on facebook you can link them from there. just right click the img and click details and it will show a different url to the facebook page. use that and it will work fine.
