Congratulations! You'll definitely be living the dream once you get that stunning car!

Love the L&K B)

Hi all,

Great to see a non VRs thread!

Just waiting to hear when my L&K will arrive. Built in week 16 and should be here in the next 2 weeks. cant wait.

My spec is:

Blue

Manual

2.0 Diesel PD 140

Silver rails

Boot liner

Spare wheel

Really excited, but will have to wait. Havent been asked for my documentation for the private plate.

Swapped my 2009 A4 S Line 2.0TDI 170 saloon to get the Octy. Having had many Audis over the recent years, felt this one was not as well built. Think Skoda is now where Audi were a few years ago (a positive comment!).

Congrats on getting it all sorted. Have fun.

DtD only put you in touch with a Skoda dealer. After that all negotiations are done direct with the dealer who offers the full range of Skoda finance options.

Wifes Yeti was bought from them on the Skoda Solutions deal, so any dealer that tells you DtD can't offer all the finance options is being disingenuous.

I had a feeling that, that might be the case, but I was also concerned that the only way to find out was to pay the deposit to DTD.

At the end of the day, I have gone to my local dealer who I beleive has been as geniune as possible, and as importantly, I have got a better deal than I wanted.

I'm sure you'll be happy with your car (and the spec and colour sound really good ) and if you're happy with the deal struck then that's all that matters.

I guess it's understandable why dealers make false claims about DtD, but that's why places like BriSkoda are useful as you'll (usually) get accurate information from forum members.

Having bought wifes car through DtD earlier this year (with no problems, I should add), I've ended up ordering mine from a more local dealer as they got within £150 of the DtD price and I don't have to go London to pick it up.

One of the dealers I went to (the only one who had the car to test drive) nearly through me out when I mentioed those three words.
