Changing MAF

Featured Replies

I've noticed that the power seems down on my 2.0PD TDI and wondered if it may be caused by the MAF ?

I know there is a test that can be carried out with VAG-COM/VCDS, but wondered if there was any point in changing it anyway,

since the car is now over 5 years old and has covered 87K.

I know that the MAF can have a significant effect on performance, since my was a little ruff until I did the cage mod last year, seems

to be dropping off again though.

Have you tried other things such as cleaning / replacing the air filter and/or running some aditives through to give it a good clean out? (I recommend Millers power sport 4 (eco max by another name)
