Update on the Flabia!

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Sorry it's been such a long time, I have had exams, new jobs, breaking up with the missus and family problems getting in the way of any real time to take some pictures and get on here. BUT. It's all sorted now so I thought i'd take the oppertunity to get the snapper out and take some pics!

First up is the new tinted front lights, I used Lamin x medium smoke on the headlights and the fogs... went on really easily and i keep asking myself why i didn't do it sooner!

Now, this next one is a bit love or hate, and if i'm honest, i'm not too convinced myself, but they are growing on me... Tinted red, rears.

On this picture you can also see that after having the rear and bumpers smoothed i did get around to removing the rear wiper and got a glass blank and sealed it in place.

Now, I know this has been done before and it may be considered as a bit 'played out' but I love them, diamond cut and powdercoated audi TT comps with a little strech on the tires... oooh! love it!

And finally, just some shots of the car for the hell of it!

Missed you Duggie! Welcome back :)

Some nice changes there.

Looking good :)

Although I have no idea who you are or where you went! :giggle:

Is it a vRS? Looks different - apart from the bumpers obviously!

liking the wheels have some myself, think there the best suited wheel for the fabia, laminx looks good, not so sure on the rear lights to be honest

^ It was a 1.4

Thanks for the comments guys, and it really is nice to have some time back to myself and be able to share some stuff with fellow enthusiasts... he he!

It's a 1.4 Mpi with a fair few mods... needless to say the next update is coming soon, but you'll have to wait until saturday for that!

Thanks again,

- Duggie.

Ello mate, had been wondering where your smooth ass had been!

I had no idea you'd got a vRS interior in there.. love the way it matches the door cards!

Still recon you need to get a set of fog light grilles to match the middle bit though, like on Elegance models!

You have made my mind up bout the headlight tints!!

Thanks, really liking the styling. good job!

what does it say on the sticker? (where rear door is)

Seen this a few times now around uni, although before the tinting and I think on different wheels, but it looks good. Never noticed the interior, but still looks nice. Also good to see peeople changing the non-vRS ones.

Must say, I'm not keen on the rear lights, but otherwise I like it.

nice car

Very nice mate. Looks very smooth.

What did you do to your front lights? Tint them? They look great.

Lamin-x.

More expensive than flyeyes. But good quality stuff I hear...

Still fairly easy to apply.

Actually I think it looks quite sophisticated in that shade...

I thnk they've stopped doing the really dark one... Always shows up as out of stock.

I keep toying with the idea...... Might buy a little piece and just do the front fogs.
