Sorry but this is not meant as a definative answer, but VAG sometimes use the last letter/number to indicate an improved build standard of item, but they also change the last letter/number to indicate that its a completely differant animal - ie for use on another platform - so yes you are being smart in asking the question as you can't make assumptions generally.

Have you thought about getting your one repaired - there are places that do that sort of work, ie either test and fix your one or let you trade your one in against an already sorted one with a year's warranty - I think.

thank u for ur help but to buy from ebay i pay 40 pouds and to fix it is 100 so , i would prefer the ebay :-P
