Please could you let me know if there will be a software update on the above sat nav systems to allow UK owners to put the full 7 digit UK post codes in,

At the moment we can only input 2 letters and one number.

Also could we please have the speed cameras with warnings included

- Columbus: starting from 22nd calendar week of 2011

Please note that it will work only if you have both new navigation and new map-data. Whether you would have “old†sat nav, neither old maps – you will not be able to use this feature.

Another year for Columbus to get 7 digit postcodes? I suppose it's good news it's coming, but what a joke...

Also, does that last comment mean new firmware (I would hope so) or a new Columbus unit will be required? The new map doesn't really surprise me... the data is available for the current maps but how are they going to make money out of that?

It's a model of Sat Nav that I don't believe is available (any more) in the UK market... 5" screen instead of the 7" of the Columbus...
