Mr and Mrs Pilkers would like to announce the arrival of thier new baby. The names chosen are Laurin and Klement.

The delivery was made on Friday 14 May and was conducted by Ian at Delmore Inverness ably assisted by Zoe. Both parents are delighted and the baby has exceeded expectations. She looks beautiful in blue and will no doubt give the proud new parents many years of pleasure.

As I sat in my chair wearing my favourite slippers last evening with a cup of cocoa in my hand, I had a smug look of pleasure on my face.

I will be posting some piccies, but it rained just as I got it home, so she is slightly dirty. Can I clean it yet, or could that damage the paint? As all proud parents know, you must never take pictures of a dirty baby!!

Just goes to show how Skoda UK have improved on their current deliveries of typically 12/14 weeks.

Undoubtedly, you and your good lady would have had to wait the customary 9 months from the time you placed your order and made a deposit.

Hope you dont get too many sleepless nights watching over it, and it doesn't chuck too much CO2- g/KM

out from the rear pipe.

Sorry about the delay in posting the pictures. I have too busy enjoying looking after the new baby to post the piccies.

So far we havehad no sleepless nights and the baby is not causing us any worries and is very economical at 49mpg.

Hi all,

Thanks to Simbo I may have cracked how to upload photos. I will try one first and if that works, I will post others. She really is a fantastic car to drive. By the way I dont wear slippers when I am driving, and I am happy for people to see my car registration. If you see me on the road feel free to acknowledge the old grey haired guy!

I am really pleased with the car and the whole experience of buying from Delmore in Inverness was excellent. I see they have had some adverse comments on here, but my experience has been totally positive. The build week and delivery dates once specified were met, and I was kept informed throughout. Ian was the salesman and he was as excited as I was during the handover.
