I've got in my 55 plate fabia today and found a strange problem! The miles the car has done from new is around 47000 but is now showing in km! It's showing around 79000 odd km. What's happened!? I've looked in the manual quickly but can't see how to change it! Anyone know how? As it's knackered up the moles per gallon into kms per gallon! Please help!

Never seen this before without a VAGCOM tweek. Moles per gallon? are the little rodents cheaper than diesel?

The government aren't taxing Moles at the moment and you can get them at a reasonable price wholesale.

It sounds as though the country coding for the dash panel has changed for some reason. It will probably need changing back using diagnostic equipment such as VCDS.

It went into Skoda on fri for some vagcom but didn't notice it then so I expect they've messed it up tbh.I'll take it back I think!
