New Octy2 estate

Featured Replies

Saw the new Octy2 estate yesterday morning, going up the Old Kent Road ataround 6.10am, which under the orange street lighting looked a light blue metallic colour. The car was a left hooker, being on Spanish plates I think.

First look of it suggests a swollen Fabia estate as it has a very curved rear end, which doesnt look as practical as the outgoing Octy estate. The one thing that does catch the eye are the C shaped rear running lights which are quite attractive and very obvious (the car had its lights on being dark), and for those fans of xenons, it also had front xenons...which blinded you for a short while as it went over the larger lumps and uneven bits in the roads, although the self levelling mechanism brought them down fairly quickly in response.

The whole car looked more "complete" and solid in its outline (the wheels filled the arches nicely), but it did look just like a swollen Fabia.

I think they look rather nice, boot is huge on them. Hoping they will do a vRS version sooner or later.

Check this week's Autocar for their 1st drive report :)

I like it

my biggest concern is how long before vrs comes along
