Skoda Columbus Help Needed

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone out there can help me,

I recently updated the firmware in my Skoda Columbus unit. All went well as the unit updated successfully.

However, since doing this I have lost the Multifunction Display for the Navigation and Audio information. Everything else seems to work it's just annoying

that I can't see the details in the MFD.

I believe that a reset needs to be done using VAG-Com or VCDS but do not know which parameters need to be changed. Can anybody help me with this and let me know how to

get these functions working again.

Many Thanks in advance.

UPDATE

Just had my car serviced and mentioned problem to the dealer - staight away he said " might be the ignition switch " How could that be I thought but kept stum.

When I collected the car everything was working again. It WAS the ignition switch I was informed. I wasn't going to argue and said thanks very much.

Do not know how or why this was the cause but at least it is all working again.
