Been a busy boy today, went and got my new wheels put on (£40 which I was happy about ) then home to start playing !

Went on nice and easy, I'm liking the look of this subtle tint

Yup, Happy with that............mmmmm that grill surround looks very shiny :wonder:

10 mins to get the grill off and pulled into bits, 20 mins to get the Skoda badge and glue off grrrrrr 20 mins to put the Di-Noc Carbon Fibre on, lovely stuff to work with, very satisfying.

Ta daaaa !, Job Done !

I love it !, well pleased with how it's turned out, not sure if I'm going to put the Skoda badge back on, leave it blank or get a custom black and red one made up ? :S

Cut two pieces just to cover the white bits on the lenses, I like it !

Ok on to some full car shots, withthe new wheels on !

All told I'm delighted with how it looks, when the funds have recovered a little I hope to lower it a little and fit a whiteline rear anti-roll bar.

Would love to hear your comments whatever they may be !

Looking good, like you say lower it a bit and it'll look spot on. Thinking of doing the same with my grill though not sure whether to go all black or carbon fibre. I've seen a few people swap the black engine cover badge with bonnet one - can't find the thread but they look good. Also, think someone has used the badge off the Favorit

Yea a drop of about 40mm will get it looking spot on, and whiteline rear arb will transform the handling. Top job fella, and grill looks great

I like it, Laminx makes a subtle difference and looks really good (may have just found my next mod)...

Grille looks better too, a red/black badge would look the best to finish it off IMO

But £40 to fit them? I'd of put them on for a tenner! I had my others fitted whilst I was at work (they got delivered to work and I was too busy to fit them but too excited not to have them on, garage over the road did it for £15)

somebody had a busy day. like others have said lowered and the red and black custom badge and it will look complete.

colour code the handles and tint the windows.keep the red and black/dark theme going

very nice car..mine looks similar wheels apart....needs lowering,grill does look nice but imo red colour code looks better...ive replaced all my badges inc the vrs grill badge with bespoke red/black gel badges to carry on the red/black theme....

Thanks for the comments !, should have said the £40 was not just for fitting the wheels, but swapping tyres offmy old rims and fitting them and new valves and balancing, I thought it was a reasonable price :-)

I'm Good thanks Chris, was wondering if you were still about as I've not seen you about either, still travel the same road 7.45 ish on a morning and 5.15 ish on an evening.

2 pieces each one 12"x24" managed to get 1 x headlight,foglight and backlight out of each sheet.

I decided on going with the subtle tint, thought the gunsmoke looked too dark, and I have to say I'm glad I did looks just about perfect in my opinion, there was a few inperfections when I applied it to the headlights but they have all vanished now :-)
