Ive just noticed how my fabia is slowly losing its power. Only ever so slightly.

Its got a revo map + k&n panel filter and the 160 pd intake to go with it

and i was wondering if any1 could tell me why im losing power.(it feels like i am)

ive noticed a boost pipe leaking i touch and wonderd if that could be just it or is my turbo on its way out? (because of the smoke!)

i got same problem, had car for nearly 2years, remapped, kn panel filter, 160intake. the cars just hit 61k and past week or 2 noticed the power seems to be down. have to boot it alot more before power kicks in.

so any help be good

down on power and smokey=prob boost leak

You have said it yourself. If you have a boost leak then this will be causing the loss of power.

Turbo's run very high pressure through the pipes which is even higher under remap. Any leak (no matter how small it seems) will be losing you power. Sort out your boost leak and then see if it makes a difference

is it common prob on the fabia vrs? i changed my water pump and cambelt just before i started to notice, so just thinkin maybe one of the pipes not sealed properly. is there any uprated pipes for the fabia vrs?

Possibly the warmer weather sapping your power at the moment as well with a lack of cool dense air, I see theres an FMIC in the classifieds (Comes with uprated pipes too )
