ARB'S and POLYBUSHES,which ones?

Featured Replies

i'de like to order some arb's and some polybushes to go with my new weitecs, but i understand that fitting arb's with different thickness can change the handling. I.E a 25mm bar makes more understeer than a 23mm arb and turn understeer to oversteer.also some say the std front arb is good enough and just to do the rear.i will polybush the underside of the car at the same time. can anyone please shed some light on this please because its a bit of a head scratcher. cheers.

Just stick with the standard front arb, and get a rear arb something like a 22mm whiteline to reduce understeer. As for polybushes i'd go for the superpro ones. ;)

I got skoda to fit a golf 25mm R32 front ARB and then fitted a nurspeed 28mm rear bar. The difference is awesome no understeer unless you are hard on power, and a touch of lift off oversteer. Perfect for me.

All depends what your wanting from them really. If you just want to reduce the under steer then as mentioned just go for a rear ARB, something like the Whiteline 22mm adjustable is a good option. If you want all round less roll with more of a balanced feel then the H&R 25mm front and 25mm rear bars are a great option.

As for bushes, the Powerflex ones will tighten things up more but they are a little stiffer then the Super Pro ones.

Very good and one of the best quality ARBs available on the market in my opinion. The front bar is also adjustable which is a nice option to have.
