i have been having problems with my wipers for a few weeks at first the rear wiper would work randomly on it own now the problem has spred to the front at first i thought it was the relay but after buying one and fitting it this am the problem seams worse !

any ideas?

I had a problem with my rear wiper coming on by itself,it turned out to be full of water, the screenwash was leaking into the motor,i stripped it & dryed it out,it was fine for a while then it packed in so i fitted a secondhand one & its been fine since.

I had issues with my front wiper just randomly not working last December.

My Skoda dealer fitted a new motor. No problems since.

Hello, i have trhe same problem, can anyone tell how to replace that wipermotor and where it is located please>

The wiper motor is under the scuttle panel. Remove the wipers, the scuttle panel and then remove the linkage assemble & motor - 3 torx screws iirc.

If it was affecting the rear wiper, and now the fronts, are you sure it's not the stalk??

I had the same problem a few months back.

It will be the rear motor for sure, there is a pipe running through the center of it with seals.

The seal deteriorates and water starts leaking in to the motor and shorts the wipers out.

rear would start on its own the fronts would come on and not go off until i unplugged the rear motor

I can't get my rear wipe to spray. Would that indicate that me pipe is broken or that there is somthing aray along the way?

On the hatchback, iirc the hose can pop off just inside the tailgate trim, the other *common* place is for the joint in the pipework under the CD changer to pop apart. and fill that area up with windscreen wash solution....
