Marketing of Facelift Fabia

Featured Replies

I've not seen any reviews of the Fabia facelift with the new engines. This seems odd as while the facelift doesn't look very different, the engine line-up is quite changed from the pre-facelift. Have Skoda not released cars to the press? They should: I notice WhatCar's summary reviews of the Fabia still refer to the old engines.

No better review than that of a satisfied owner!

Unfortunately for Skoda, not all its prospective customers use Briskoda!

I was thinking how weird that was the other day - there are loads in the country now so why no press reviews?

Its weird isnt it. I seem to remember Citroen doing the same with the C2 FL. For obvious reasons they seem to be using their marketing dept for the VAT offer.

Very good point, I wonder if it is because with the new engines it is probably a better offer than the polo and the factory is presently at capacity.

The Polo probably has better margins, Seat is on its knees as a brand so i guess skoda is low down the pecking order for the marketing budget.

Possibly because VW want it that way..or it will take sales away from the Polo
