mk4 golf gti seats

Featured Replies

After seeing that Lee was selling his vRS seats, I wonder about some GTI/r32 styled ones from a Golf for my Elegance estate, and saw these on ebay:

They are not a million miles away from me, so I could possibly even collect rather than pay postage :-)

Am I right in thinking the airbag stuff should be the same? as an added bonus these are heated too (although my elegance does not have the wiring, that could be added). Also not quite sure about missing back if the passenger seat - anyone know if that is easy enough to replace?

Thanks,

Matt

p.s. no bidding :D

yes should be direct fit, no need to mod anything, prob is only place you are going to get that from is another recaro seat and unless there is a fked set that you can salvage it from thats not likely or from the main dealer which will be $$$.

Only other option is go to coach trimmer to get it done, but that will prob cost too, so dont spend too much on them, good ones of these can be had for £250ish without work required. Plus i hate burns in seats that would really pee me off!

Apparently the burn is in the back of the seat....

hi, the car had a failed water pump at 130k, the previous owner had smoked in it hence the small mark in the back of the drivers seat (which is hardly noticeable) the seats have been steam cleaned since i owned it so no smoke smell. Collection is not a problem

If I got them for £100 I would be happy :-). I might be able to get my mother to make up a bit of suitable coloured fabric for the back of the seat :-)

Then I would just need to source the loom and heated seat switches....
