Does anyone know if there is any difference between the front strut on a petrol model and diesel model because im led to beleive that the springs are different? If so are the shocks the same or are they different also? Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

Shaun, I just replaced the front shocks & springs on my 1.9D Pick up and as far as I know there are different shocks and springs on the diesel and petrol models. I suspect the diesel suspension needs to be a bit beefier to handle the extra weight??

Springs are definitely different, so as a consequence it's fair to expect the shocks to be different otherwise they would perform differently given the diesel's greater weight.
