I have just ordered Yeti-1.2 Pacific blue via dealer in southampton and advised that delivery could be up to 10/12weeks,hope sooner.

Anyone any ideas on delays in the production/delivery times?

Build times and delivery dates are variable sorry, best chat to your dealer.

Delivery times seem to be varying wildly at the moment, almost certainly down to the spec you order. Anything from 8 weeks to 18 I've seen on this forum. Picking mine up on Friday after a 17 week wait.

Seems to me that the only way to garantee a delivery date is (Linky) by getting an Ex Demo model!

I ordered a 2.0 litre 140bhp + options in week 10 (no sunroof) and was given a delivery period of 8 - 12 weeks. With 9 days to go to the end of week 12 and after a bit of chasing I was told the date had slipped to late June! So in my case my week 10 order is now estimated to have a 15 week delivery period.

I can only suggest that you treat your delivery date with a little cyncism.

If I still had my original car, I could tolerate the delay. But I haven't and it is so so painful being without a car.

I orders my 1.2 SE Yeti on the 2nd April and have a delivery date of the first week in July, the dealer did say 10 to twelve weeks but it is a lot longer than that .. apparantly the car is not due to be built until the 3rd week in June. Seem pretty normal though most people on here have had to wait some time for their cars to be delivered.

Hi, Thanks for the news that it looks like I will be waiting for longer than 10 weeks,WE have VW touran, so at least we can drive in relative comfort for the 3>4 months........

Hope my dealer will be honest in his estimate when I give them a call!

Speaking to a dealer today while having a vacuum fault looked at on my lads Fabia 6v; if I ordered a Yeti today I would be looking deep into October for delivery and late November + if I tried ordering a Velux roof to go with

His take on it was along the lines that UK customers are currently buying more Skoda's than have been allocated but also if your waiting for one.

I ordered my car on 3rd February and was told yesterday it is built and awaiting transit to UK. Dealer estimates I can pick it up on or about 15th June. It seems dealers have no/limited influence on events until the car reaches UK.

Picked up my Muscavado 1.2tsi Elegance with sunroof(fantastic!) yesterday having ordered it on the 10th Feb. The wait nearly killed me but I am so impressed with it, the engine is amazing and very flexible - dealer said they were no longer taking orders with a sunroof and the factory cant keep up with demand - fantastic buils quality and looks great!!!!!

Got an email from the salesman to say my Snow Monster has left the factory!

A week 22 build (this week) but already on the way to the port.

With any luck it will find a wee berth on a boat and be heading over here very soon.

I ordered a 2.0TDi SE 4x4 in black on 12th April and was given a build date of week 25. The dealer confirmed on sunday that it was being built week 22 (this week!) with delivery hopefully by the end of june, so fingers crossed.
