vrs front bumper onto a 4x4

Featured Replies

im toying with the idea of putting a vrs front bumper on my octy 4x4 but i want to retain my headlight washer jets.

i know octimarks 4x4 had them on still but he isnt sure how it was done.

does anyone know how or what is entailed to fit them to the vrs bumper

cheers

Just a straight forward bolt on part.

IIRC 2 bolts either side and a load of screws.

so the mounting hole are already there!! how easy is that :D

ill just copy the little holes from bumper to bumper for the squirters then bolt it all up

almost sounds to easy, whats the catch :wonder:

The catch is when you catch it on a kerb in the front of a parking space!! Just be more aware of kerbs and road angle transitions on ferries/carparks. Takes a bit of getting used to if you've never had to think about things like that.

Just try and find a vRS bumper with headlight washers, then it literally is a straight swap!

that all sounds very promising to me, i spose it doesnt help that i will be also fitting a LCR lip thingy then B)

unless you've lowered it then the 4x4 rides higher than the vrs so you are less likely to catch the bumper in the first place.

i've done it, as said its a standard fit, just need to cut out the jet holes in the new vrs bumper if it doesnt have them, and lip can be fitted too as my old one had it,

im not joking, you will love how much better the car looks with it done!!! B)

the car will be lowered so yeah bumps and stuff will be a problem

sweedish yeah i should like the look more but only doing it as the paint on the bumper is bad i might aswell go for an upgrade while im there
