Can anyone enlighten me why genuine Skoda Octavia FL front mudflaps won't fit the VRS, I know there are issues with the rears due to the bumper being different........ but the front ?

Can anyone enlighten me why genuine Skoda Octavia FL front mudflaps won't fit the VRS, I know there are issues with the rears due to the bumper being different........ but the front ?

The front mudflaps fit fine. You dont even have to remove the wheel, just turn the steering wheel to full lock and you can access the fittings, literally a 5min job!!

If you speak nicley to your dealer they are easy to tweek, I have a set of 4 fited to my FL estate

I've tried to fit the rears in addition to the fronts but whilst they would physically fit (with persuasion), they would also create a space to trap dirt so the end result wouldn't have been worth the effort!

I came across these at the weekend - seems like only a little modification was needed to get them to fit.
