Hi all, thought I'd clean 'my babe' and take some pics for ya'll. I only had my iPhone camera to hand so the pics aren't the best of quality but it hides some of the crappy water marks that I missed out :D

When I have more free time, I'm going to polish and wax the car and wheels properly and then re-black the trims and tires then I'll upload some more pics.

Considering it only took me about half hour to rinse, wash and rinse the car, and about another 20 mins on the wheels I think I got a 'decent' result.

Leave comments and any tips for getting a good 'shine', thanks

P.s, any tips for getting the windows clean and streak free?

Looks nice :)

When rinsing my car off I put some quick detailer in the water as this prevents water marks. Dry off with a micro fibre cloth - done :)

Thanks for the tips, can you buy megs from Halfords? I haven't really checked out their range of cleaning stuff.

Yeah, Halfords are pretty good, only shop I know that sells it on the high street.

That's a good shine for a quick wash! Sometimes the quick ones seem to be the shiniest..

Those may be the shiniest factory alloys I've ever seen!

p.s. Did you have the door handles painted, because that's not standard on a 04 car.

Looks great. As for windows, every few months give them a proper clean with Autoglym Glass Cleaner inside and out. Only down side is it's a very dusty product, so masking off window rubbers is a good idea. Then use Autoglym Fast Glass when they just need streaks removed etc.
