My mechanic tried to fit my new cambelt kit yesterday but hit a hurdle. He opened the box sent from ECP(the box only arrived 1 week late- so much for next day delivery) to find the wrong kit. The water pump was fine so 1 out of 2 aint bad I suppose. Luckily he managed to source at kit locally and cheaper.

I contacted ECP to tell them about this and they suggested that I return it to my local store (40 miles away) where they wouyld inspect the parts. They will then send them to Wembley where the parts will be looked at again and a refund will be sorted in a few weeks!!!!!!!! Who are these jokers?

Currently waiting on a duty manger calling me back to discuss ''my problem''!

The service from start to finish has been sh!t.

I work away and my wife also works so I asked them to post the goods to my mechanics workshop, not an unreasonable request or so I thought. ''No sorry mate, can't do that'' It seems that they can only deliver to the debit card address. I had to p!ss about sorting out a bank transfer just to have it delivered else where.

Then.......(I really am on my soap box now) when the parts didnt arrive next day I called up to ask where they were. ''Dunno'' replied the helmet on the end of the phone. ''I will ring you back in 2 seconds''. 1hr 30mins later I had to call him back.

Never ever again will I use ECP!!!!!
