very good post mate thanks! I never thought of that, was thinking of more along the lines of a central locking wire.Simple job then instead of making it complicated! Thanks alot its appreciated.

Hello, slight topic change but I suppose it could be a valid one..

The Fabia has this feature; you physically turn the key in the direction of lock to get the windows up (and lock the car), could this be tweeked somehow via vagcom or otherwise to achieve the same effect with remote..?

Edit: Found some light..

However thats Octavia/passats.. Anyone tried doing it with Fabia's? Im not too hot on this VCDS, CCM, EEPROM stuff.. :S

ive already got the total closure module from an old car and theyre easy to install if you know what wires to use.Plus it cost around £10 a year or so ago.

Cant be doing with all this rewriting of eprom and all that as itll just end up in the car being an expensive model for the drive.
