False alarm...open door warning

Featured Replies

My Yeti has started to beleive that the drivers door is opened and closed again when I´m driving.

The display shows that the door is opened, after a few seconds (or minutes), the display shows that the door is closed again...and then open again :-) .

I don´t really know right now where the sensor is, to test myself.

The dealer are going to check this.

And by the way......can´t wait to get home to drive it :-)

The Yeti may be different in this respect, but most "door open" systems use either the lock microswitches or the courtesy light switches to provide the data. So if the courtesy light(s) (include boot lights and/or separate rear door lights if fitted) flash wit the door open warning that would be a sure pointer.
