sat waiting for skoda assist at the moment

Featured Replies

Well my 1.2tsi elegance has developed its second fault in as many days. The parking sensors were the first to go but now more seriously the front wipers have stopped working. No setting on the stalk gets them going, ive tried replacing several fuses but nothing. Anyway ive given up and ive called skoda assist. Just sat waiting for them at the moment.

Hmm...not good news and very sorry to hear this......I`m getting mine to morrow so fingers crossed.....keep us updated

Yeh the guy from SA spent more time looking at the car first off as he hadn't seen one of the new fabia yet. Turns out either the control motor or switch of some sort (sorry not very good with car electronics) or the stalk on the steering wheel is faulty. The diagnostics computer couldn't determine which, he thought it maybe down to the fact my engine isnt actually listed on their computers yet.

Its going to my local dealer tomorrow to have the wipers and the sensors fixed.

Good luck..lets hope its just a one off and not a systemic fault.....be interested to see what the outcome was though..ta
