After 3 years of owning the PD Vrs and sending it back to Skoda at the end of the 3-year options agreement, i was gut-wrenchingly sick each and every time i saw another Vrs out on the road and knowing just what it was i was missing -

Sooooooo........ having driven near-on 3x 4x4's to destruction since December, i decided i needed to get back to the fun in driving and start looking tirelessly for another mk.11 Occy, but at a realistic price i could afford, with part-ex and hopefully hardly any outlay.

This meant an early Occy II Vrs was needed and probably one with quite high mileage. Not wanting to go for Blue again, i set my sights on either Silver or Black.

Finally found what i was looking for last friday and drove to a dealer in Leeds on Sunday to do the deal - is me a happy bunny, or what!!!

My vehicle was a Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 Di-d 7 seater Classic (base model) on an 02 plate 90k 10 months mot, 6 months tax

The Mk.II Vrs i exchanged it for, on a 'STRAIGHT' swap, was:

Octavia II 2.0 Tfsi, Black magic pearl, full electric windows, jumbo box, Climate, !8'' Zenith's, 55plate, 130k, 2 weeks tax, 7 months mot, 4x NEW Toyo proxes4 tyres and full service history relating from 2 business users, hence the high motorway mileage, but hey, that's not an issue when she's in real good condition and drives superb - :p

WELL HAPPY ONCE AGAIN......

Just got new numer plates today for her and have entered the Briskoda web address on the bottom of the plates (just had to get rid of those tacky garage ad ones, lol)

Now i finally have a Vrs owned outright, think i need to pay Colin some cash for a memership and get me some Brisky stickers!

Car is now with me in the West Sussex area and looking forward to getting to some meets in the future and perhaps even the odd tweek or two -

Anyone near to Chichester able to offer some assistance with some diagnostics on mine, then pls message me. Really want the seatbelt ding gone and the auto lights-on when unlocking again if i can?? Hope someone can help? - cheres, JOHN.

You need to upload your pictures into a web based area like Photobucket.....there are others

All you do then is copy and paste the pics' address in the reply boy
