Just thought it would be interesting, being as it's a hot topic at the moment, to get an idea of the proportion of Yeti owners out there who are suffering from abnormal noises and rattles from their Yeti.

It is hard to add any meaningful comments to a "NO" vote.

Dead quiet, no rattles and no squeeks. 26,000 km

At 1,700 miles no ratles from mine that isn't self-induced - like child seats in the rear, and tyre pressure and tread wear guage rattling in the glovebox.

No Rattles - very pleased with the all round excellent standard of our Hettie the Yeti

Parker was concerned :wonder: about a rattle which seemed to emanate from the roof...it was his packet of painkillers in the sunglasses compt.

Very early in the day for me, only done 300 miles but my ears have not led me to any noises that shouldn't be there thus far.

Only rattle heard here is that of my false teeth, in time with The Who doing "I Can't Explain" - loudly.

Or my iPhone clattering against the dash as I attempt yet another epic off-road bumpy-grass hill-climb in the wet with gritted teeth and clenched buttocks.

A very interesting thread and so far it looks like the Yeti is generally pretty good.

It would be interesting to compare the engine/spec level with these results to see if there is a possible pattern particularly for those saying 'Yes, badly.'

Difficult for me to vote on this one as 'PAT' doesn't quite fit any of the options. She tends to be as follows;

Generally quite 85%

Slight noises from the glove box / air-bag, central vent / dash top box and above the drivers door (usually on the A166 ) 14%

More vocal sounds (not heard since the more extreme cold weather earlier this year and several visits to the dealer) 1%

She did start of quite vocal after the first 100 miles but my ever helpful dealer has done some good work getting things much improved. Just hope this will continue since this family firm has been taken over by one of the larger Skoda chains :S

anyway I decided to go for the middle one.

I have voted no for ratlles but I do get a creak from the rubber door seals when I leave the drive. I don't really see this as a fault because I am confident that I just need to lubricate the seals to get rid of it. It also tends only to be on hot days.
