hello guys

the clutch is clonking when im changing gear , its always had a high point and 20k later its getting to its end i think,

had two prices so far ,

£540 with a single mass change?

£650 with a standard dual mass flywheel

£459 with new clutch on original flywheel

is it wortth changing the flywheel for an extra few quid? why is a single mass cheaper but veiwed as an upgrade?

Should find plenty of info and links in there. You can get a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch kit for under £200, then it's just the labour on top.

Because the dual mass flywheel is fscking expensive for what it is.

If you "upgrade" by changing to a single mass flywheel then the next time the clutch fails you don't necessarily have to have a new flywheel as well like you would do if you stuck with a DMF.
