Featured Replies

Hi everyone Iv'e recently bought an 06 plate vrs in black and obviously for its age it has a few minor scratches/marks from its uncaring previous owner . Me being me fell in to the dealer trap and had Autoglyms life shine done , after I had cleaned it I noticed the annoying scratches so I got out my MER scratch remover out applied as directed and now its left an even noticeable dullish mark where the scratces were/are , whats the best next stage of action please I'm thinkin a good wash - polish- then the deep shine polish .

I do apologise if this needs to be in a different thread .

Please please Help .

P.s Meguiars Tek wax any good found an unopened bottle in the garage with the instruction label missing (sorry need to get back in the swing of things regarding cleaning again)

baker 21 there is your answer

Where are you in the UK?

I'm surprised they were selling lifeshine with a 06 plate s/h car - I always thought the lifeshine system and 10 year warranty was designed with new cars in mind?

Just get Baker21 or someone to machine polish it and seal it properly for you.

In answer to the Megs Tech Wax question. The 2.0 version is easy to use and looks great, but the longevity is poor. The original version isn't great.

Get some AG SRP and a pad and work it into the paint small area at a time, like 6" square.

If the marks are as bad as they sound it will need machine polishing, get a professional with a machine polisher to whizz over it.

If you're near Derbyshire, I'd be happy to help.
