Good choice - you can't go wrong with a diesel DSG estate

Even if it is an L & K ;)

What are your initial impressions of the box, going from manual ?

One thing, as and when you can get a set of Audi Calitos - the standard L & K's look shocking :S

Very nice motor Carl, virtually identical spec to my black magic hatch apart from TPM and boot netting, enjoy sitting back and cruising in luxury

300mile commute in the Blue Bullet would cost me about £500 a week in fuel :giggle: :giggle:

300miles daily is a massive amount of mile!!!!!!! You are really going to get to know the inside of the new car with the number of hours you are going to be in it.

tidy

:D

Can i have the mfd3 , you dont need 2 and AM wont use it .

looks really good mate , enough toys in it deffo , or on second thought does this mean in a while your gonna do a fluffy and buy a milkfloat, thats how he started

To what , the mfd or the milkfloat , very economical and quiet tho , dont think a stripy pinny will suit you tho .

Both :giggle:

Great choice of car. I had the Octy II 140 diesel with DSG. Very good car for high mileage, although I think your daily commute beats mine!!!

Nice looking car Carl, but that is one serious commute.

Very jealous of the raised boot floor, DSG, electric seats, MFSW, MFD3 and the Maxidot! but I'm not sure about the down swept tail pipes!! :giggle:

You forgot heated seats

Down swept tail pipes are the new way forwards. It stops sh!te getting in the atmosphere and it all just goes on the roads for the rain to wash away and then it gets cleared at the sewage treatment plants

See Global Warming and Emissions problems all solved at once

Mine's got heated seats! I strap the kids down 2 hours before I go out, they warm them up a treat! :giggle:

You should petition the government with your theory................ B)

Nice car, very similar to mine.

Seeing as you have a VRS too - is the height of the L+K much difference to the VRS??

I bought the L+K over the VRS as the VRS was 17mm lower according to the brochure but had my car next to a VRS the other day and they were the same height?

Thanks

Tom

It will be as my vRS is on Eibach Springs which lower it 20mm over standard

A standard vRS is only 10mm lower than a normal Octavia.

Very nice Carl

Nice bus mate, when you bringing it up? :D
