forge 007p needed?

Hi had my vrs mapped but its not reaching peak power that the ecu is asking for, the boost backs of at high revs, is it worth me fitting a forge valve? and wheres the best place to get 1?

When you say that, do you mean the boost comes down as the engine speed gets higher? if so that is normal.

Your standard diverter valve should hold the boost if it is in top condition, but usually used standard diverter valves leak slightly at full boost. You would definitely get an improvement installing a 007p. It is a fantastic valve for the 1.8T. Don't bother with the Split-R or any gimmiky stuff.

A Turbo Intake Hose will also make a decent, noticeable difference.

Ye seems to loose pressure at higher revs, il get one from awesome and try it! thanks 4 replies!

you will lose power as the heat soak cuts in and the boost is dropped to stop problems you should see say 1 bar hold and then near 5500 it will tail off

AMD TECHNIK sell them and there free fitting i have a forge 007p fitted to my octavia 1.8 t 4x4 remaped and it produced 212bhp and 214 tourque emoticon-0140-rofl.gif worth having done
