What Would You Do?

Featured Replies

I am going to be taking my wheels off to clean them shortly as I have had a new one on warranty, it obvioulsy makes the others look as bad as they really are!

The question is, while the wheels are off, I fancy painting the calipers front and rear, what colour (and paint) should I choose?

I have a L&K in a very pale blue metallic, I don't really want a sporty look as I don't want to look like a VRS wannabe!

Thoughts Please! ;)

Thought the only reason people painted calipers was to make them look sporty... if you don't want a sporty look, then why bother?

If it ain't broken, don't fix it B)

What colour are they as standard?

I would go subtle, silver, a darker blue or gloss black, Halfrauds do caliper paint and there are multitude of online suppliers, do a Google search mate!

The "natural" colour of most of the metals used for making brake calipers is either aluminium or a pale gold.

Yeah, any subtle colour one work best on your car. Like the previous poster suggested silver or light gold, but a gloss black would work well too I think.

I vote Gloss Black.
